Shannon Delage

Chief Executive Officer

Delage is a seasoned healthcare leader with a career spent in provider service delivery, sales and marketing, and digital innovation. Her experience scaling businesses through technology enhancement, new market entry, and strategic acquisitions aligns well with MAS' unique capability, through its proprietary technology platform MAESTRA, to optimize per diem and travel nurse shift fulfillment through a dynamic online service marketplace application. Her proven track record driving strategic growth and managing teams uniquely suits MAS' Nurse-First culture of high-performing, highly engaged, and motivated caregivers.

Delage's career includes tenures in private equity-backed and public companies, including most recently as CEO of The Derm Group. In addition to her healthcare practice management experience, she has years of executive leadership experience across digital media, marketing, software, and publishing, including transforming Sotheby's global digital footprint and cross-selling Time Warner's digital publishing assets to pharmaceutical clients. She started her career at Bain & Company. Delage holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University.

Phil Garrison

Chief People Officer

Phil brings extensive Human Resources experience to the MAS team where he is responsible for leading the company’s HR function. Throughout his 35-year career, Phil has managed all facets of HR with a focus on building inclusive cultures and promoting employee engagement.

Prior to joining MAS, Phil most recently served as VP, Human Resources for Discovery Health Partners, a PE-backed company recently acquired by a market-leading payment integrity company. Prior to Discovery, Phil built, transformed, and led HR teams and functions for start-up, high-growth, and PE-backed companies in healthcare, financial services, management consulting, and technology. His experience spans a wide range of business transactions, including IPO, sale, and mergers and acquisitions.

Sue Leary

Chief Operating Officer

Sue joined MAS Medical as the COO. She has spent the last 25 years building service engagement and staffing models, scaling operations and transforming cultures for growth and retention. Her experience spans across health insurance, healthcare delivery and benefits administration at companies including: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Teladoc Health and Benefitfocus, Inc. Her incredibly deep operational background, partnered with extensive experience in growth-focused businesses makes her an invaluable asset to the team.

Prior to joining MAS Medical, she served as the Chief Customer Officer at Benefitfocus, Inc, where she was responsible for client growth, retention and operational excellence with a focus on the end to customer experience, including customer management, service center, operations and account general management. Prior to that she was the SVP of Global Operations at Teladoc Health responsible for operational processes, staffing models and clinical program delivery.

Sue holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Emmanuel College in Boston. Upon graduating, Sue continued to move up the ranks at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, where she worked for 18 years. While there, Sue was part of the team who created and introduced the award-winning concierge service model, putting BCBS on the map and winning several awards.

Sue is a believer in having fun. She loves theme parks and was married in Walt Disney World, with a guest appearance from Mickey and Minnie. She lives with her husband and four children in the Boston area.

Ben Burrows

SVP Product & Marketing

Ben is a digital product and marketing leader with nearly 20 years of experience driving growth through customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. His expertise is in crafting custom, personalized, cross-channel digital experiences which integrate multiple systems and business processes into a seamless journey for a customer. He brings a diverse, cross-industry skillset to MAS, from his experiences working in healthcare, consumer products and services, financial services, and government sectors, among others.

Prior to MAS, Ben led the marketing and digital CX practice at Capco, a specialty consultancy focused on serving global financial services institutions. His early career includes long tenures at top-tier global digital experience agencies Accenture Interactive (now Accenture Song) and Isobar (now Dentsu Creative), where he served in digital strategy, client service, and growth leadership roles. Ben holds an MBA in Marketing from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BA in English from The University of Iowa.

Rebecca Sanders

VP, Nurse Success

Rebecca is focused on utilization and process improvements to support internal staff, ensuring service excellence to field staff, and placing high-quality caregivers to our clients. She has spent more than 20 years in leadership roles across health plans, health care, and hospitals, including IT initiatives and projects. Before joining MAS, she was with Teladoc Health Inc., leading Global Operational programs, Recruiting, and Provider Relations teams. Rebecca also managed the PMO at Mass General Brigham, supporting hundreds of project managers across 600 projects, including software and system implementations, corporate strategic projects, and operational improvements to drive efficiency across the organization.

Tabitha Dowd

VP, Home Care

Tabitha Dowd leads the Home Care division of MAS Medical Staffing. She has 16 years of leadership experience in quality assurance and performance improvement processes, regulatory interpretation and data analysis. Tabitha excels in identifying areas for quality improvement and incorporating Lean Six Sigma principles into the value stream across the continuum of care.

She earned her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Administration and financial leadership, from Florida Atlantic University, and Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing, from Nova Southeastern University, and holds certifications in:

She has had active participation in shaping the scope of nursing practice by serving on the Professional Healthcare Advisory Board for National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the American Nurses Association, as well as sitting on the Advisory board to the 2015 New Hampshire Nurses Association Nursing Bylaw Committee. Tabitha also served as the Clinical Quality Expert, Develop Quality Projects, analyzing data and influenced change recommendations for:

Tabitha enjoys training in Mixed Martial Arts and reading about regulatory changes on the horizon. Tabitha and her husband have two daughters, ages 17 and 24.

Ally Joy

VP, Community Health

Allyson Joy has over 20 years of experience working and making a difference in Maine’s local communities. Joining MAS over 12 years ago, Allyson strives to change the lives of those community members who need our services to be independent and successful in life. From our young autistic clients to our homeless adult clients, Allyson’s mission is to provide “exceptional services by exceptional people”. Allyson is committed and passionate about this mission.

Allyson believes that there is no glass ceiling and truly values creating a culture of respect for everyone. Allyson leads by example with compassion, drive, and fierce determination. She recognizes the strengths in her employees and provides them with opportunities to grow into their best version of themselves. Allyson believes in a “can-do attitude” and is the first person to roll up her sleeves and dive in when someone needs support.

One of her favorite quotes that embodies her personal mission, and the success of her team, is from the inspiring Helen Keller: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

Alex Taner

VP, Technology

Since 2006, Alex has been providing process-based, technical support strategies for companies ranging from 300 to over 10,000 users. A results oriented technology leader, Alex delivers excellence in Service Delivery and IT Strategic Direction with a focus on end-user experience. He works to improve the quality, efficiency, and utilization of technology to directly influence corporate success and outcomes while ensuring business goals and alignment. Alex has proven success implementing, managing, and supporting solutions and teams, focused on performance and problem solving.

Before joining MAS, Alex spent the past 15+ years working with growing healthcare institutions. Vastly familiar with the mergers and acquisitions landscape, Alex spent over a decade planning and supporting the technology roadmap at Summit Health. During a five-year period, Alex‘s tenure with the integrations committee directly contributed to Summit’s growth from a $300M organization to $1B+ enterprise. His experience in relationship management, trusted advisor roles, and skillful negotiations helped the successful turnaround and sale of his last equity-backed venture with the Derm Group. When not at work, Alex spends time with his wife and two children, enjoying the outdoors, and volunteering in his community. He holds a BS from Syracuse University, and an MA from Kean University.

Aaron Brooks

Senior Director of Technology

Aaron is a seasoned software engineer with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. He has a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions to complex problems and has a strong reputation for his ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive growth in fast-paced environments. Aaron began his career in technology as a software engineer, quickly rising through the ranks. He honed his skills in various roles, including lead software engineer, engineering manager, and principal architect, before eventually leading the engineering teams at MAS.

Throughout his career, Aaron has worked closely with company executives to build technology platforms and drive innovation and growth. He has been instrumental in transforming technology operations and helping companies achieve their strategic goals. Aaron has worked with companies of all sizes, from small startups to Fortune 500 corporations, and has a wealth of experience in various industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, and DOD.

Aaron's success in technology has been recognized by many organizations, including industry publications and events. He is a thought leader in his field, and is known for his ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a way that is easy for others to understand. He is a sought-after speaker, having presented at a number of technology conferences and events.

Matt Wilterdink

SVP, Client Services

Matt brings over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience to MAS. As the SVP-Client Services, Matt is responsible for accelerating the growth of MAS through business development and client success teams focused on revenue generation, client acquisition, service excellence, and client retention/satisfaction. He has a breadth and depth of commercial experience in scaling both private and public organizations which drives his focus on the development and execution of go-to-market growth strategies, revenue operations, service excellence, and team/cultural transformation. Matt has built organizations with a customer-centric commitment by developing consultative solution models that increase client acquisition and retention. Prior to joining MAS, Matt served as the SVP-Business Development at Assurance Laboratories where he was responsible for client growth/retention, new markets/services, and industry partnerships. Matt has held previous senior leadership positions within private-equity sponsored healthcare organizations focused on medical/surgical, clinical, and laboratory products and services where he has leveraged his deep knowledge and experience in building and leading high-performing teams and delivering world class patient care. Matt started his career at Baxter Healthcare (acquired by Cardinal Health) where he held positions of increasing responsibility over (15) years which helped shape his passion and commitment to healthcare. Matt and his wife reside in Wisconsin and have three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, and outdoor activities.

Will Stacy

VP of Transformation

Will joined MAS in 2023 as the VP of Transformation with the charge of driving growth and optimization throughout the organization. His core focus areas include streamlining process, developing data-driven business insights, and driving scalable growth. Before joining MAS, Will spent three years at Revelstoke Capital Partners, a Middle Market Private Equity fund focused on investing in Healthcare Services and Technology companies. At Revelstoke, Will filled various roles leading value-creation initiatives and helping drive growth throughout the portfolio. Prior to that, Will was a consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, spearheading finance & operations initiatives for growth-focused private equity-backed companies, in addition to driving turnaround & restructuring projects. Will lives in Indian Hills, Colorado with his wife, Sarah (an RN at Children's Hospital Colorado), and their dog, Tootsie.

Jessica Nathanson

Digital Marketing Senior Manager

With over 16 years of experience in marketing, communications, and project management, Jessica is committed to elevating brand visibility and driving revenue by leveraging best practices and out-of-the-box thinking. In her previous roles in digital marketing, she spearheaded digital strategies in both the B2C and B2B space to reach and engage with customers. Jessica has led rebranding initiatives, cost-effective website relaunches, and managed communication during critical situations. She believes that making sure sales and marketing align is paramount to a company’s success.

Jessica has worked in the advertising industry, channel marketing, as well as the medical device industry. She has a passion for helping older adults age gracefully through proper care and technology. Jessica hales from Wisconsin, but ventured to New York City for school, graduating Barnard College with a degree in History. She has lived in a suburb of Boston for over 25 years where she reared her two boys and numerous dogs.
