Through MAS Gives Back, we come together as a company to donate resources, funds, and our time to raise awareness for local and national organizations. This year our MAS Give Back initiative focused on Mental Health Awareness, where we partnered with the National Alliance of Mental Health for New Hampshire.
43.7 million Americans experience mental illness in a given year. Despite the outreach and exposure of mental illness, the disfigurement and misconceptions are unfortunately widespread. NAMI New Hampshire is a local organization working to improve the quality of life for all by providing support, education, and advocacy for people affected by mental illness and suicide.
From January to September, MAS Medical Staffing employees volunteered to assist in various fundraising efforts to benefit the organization and gear up for NAMI Walks on October 6, 2019. From bake sales to T-shirt sales, we generated over $2500 in just the first couple of months.
