MAS is pleased to offer MVP Health Insurance (voted one of America’s best health plans) to all per diem employees who maintain an average of 32 hours per week. MAS and the employee contribute to the cost of insurance. All employee contributions are pre-tax. Health insurance can also be extended to a spouse or immediate family for an additional cost.
MAS offers Delta Dental Insurance to all per diem employees in Maine and New Hampshire who maintain an average of 32 hours per week. MAS and the employee contribute to the cost of insurance. All employee contributions are pre-tax.
Colonial Supplemental Insurance
Supplemental insurance packages including disability, life, accident, cancer and critical illness insurance are offered to those who are interested. The employee contributes the full amount. These premiums are generally only a few dollars per week.
Recurring Loyalty Bonuses
For every 1,000 hours you work with MAS, you will earn a bonus! RN’s receive $1,000 and LNA/ CNA’s receive a $500 bonus check, minus applicable taxes. The hours you work never expire and accrue towards your next bonus.
We appreciate the opportunity to work with you and hope that you recommend us to your friends on the floor. Refer a Nurse and receive a $250 Visa gift card for each referral who completes 80 hours with us. Refer an LNA and receive a $50 Visa check card for each referral who completes 40 hours with us.
All employees will be paid time and one half their normal hourly rates. Observed holidays differ from facility to facility but may include:

Weekly Direct Deposit
Payday is every Friday and direct deposit is encouraged.
Electronic Instant Pay
Cash crunch? You no longer have to wait until pay day. Present your signed time card after your shift and receive 70 percent of your gross pay. The remaining balance will be paid in your weekly paycheck. Please note that you must have a Platinum Pay Card account to enroll.
MAS routinely offers onsite CPR certification courses for your convenience.
We are happy to provide our regular employees with scrub tops on a merit basis. They come in a variety of great colors- yellow, blue, burgundy, pink, and navy- and feature our new logo, of course!
Professional Liability Insurance
We offer $2/$4 million professional liability insurance, exceeding the industry standard. This insurance protects your licensure and your right to practice in the field.
Workers Compensation Insurance
State law requires that all employees have workers compensation insurance. Should you accidentally get hurt on the job you are covered.
You will always have access to your recruiter’s cell phone, your travel account manager’s cell phone and of course, our on-call coordinator. Our team is always just a phone call away.
