Description
Physical Therapist Needed in Greater Springfield Area (37.5 hrs/week)
The registered Physical Therapist provides direct therapy services to an assigned caseload. The therapist is also responsible for demonstrating and supervising rehabilitative services provided by other health personnel, in accordance with the plan of treatment. You will have the opportunity to set up your patients rehabilitation plan of care working with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. You have the flexibility of going patient to patient working one-on-one in their homes, in a setting where you can see your patients of all ages recover and thrive. This is a progressive environment where therapists are included in program development and implementing new rehabilitation programs. You will have a chance to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team and be part of our exciting new total joint replacement program.
Requirements: 6 "encounters" per day (admissions, recerts and visits) recerts and admissions count for 2 encounters, visits are 30 minutes
Qualifications : Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program and holds current license in Massachusetts and a current CPR certification. Minimum two-year clinical experience preferred. Excellent judgment and communication skills. Able to work independently. Must possess a valid driver's license. Motor vehicle report will be reviewed and final hiring decision will be based on information obtained.
