Description
A chance to gain some great experience, and take in the inspiring serenity of rural Alaska!
Assignments will be in sub-regional clinics in remote locations within the Yukon Kuskokwim delta.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professional to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient care and to achieve the best possible patient outcome.
- Serves as a resource person when the situation requires.
- Applies age specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care.
- PA, NP must have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program and received and maintained certification.
- Two years minimum suggested experience level.
- Should have experience with reading radiographs and dispensing medication.
- Must have Alaska License and DEA license.
- Must have the computer skills needed to access computerized medical records.
- Needs the skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the area of their specialty to all age groups.
